The Undead are the chosen race of Barak, Father of the Dark and lord of all that is Evil. Of all the races, they alone have the chance of immortality… but at a price – the price of their soul. Just as Barak gave up his soul so that the Race or Man could be created for his lover Siberlee, members of the undead relinquish almost all their soul on being created. Be this voluntarily, or against their will.
Though often referred to as a race, Undead is a term used to collectively categorize the 20 sub-races or Factions of Barak’s spawning. Each of these race are distinctively different, but all share the trait that they cannot reproduce in the normal fashion. Their numbers only increase when they “recruit” others to join their ranks. The other attribute they all share is that they must “feed” of others. Depending on the sub-race this may be on blood, flesh, life force, Ga, virility, hair, or happiness.
