Chandralee is the rare time when not one, but both of Mernac’s moons (Araf and Jahannan) are full on the same night. Great and wondrous things occur during Chandralee and on the eve of Chandralee. It is said by the scholars who have studied such things that the greatest moments in Mernac’s history either started on or ended on a Chandralee. Many believe this is because ever since the time of Balavance Torgin Chandralee is the only time when the Mothers are allowed to descend from the heavens and directly interact with the various Races of the Light that each Mother is responsible for.
